The Aldershot History Society
Originally formed in 1980 as Aldershot Aldershot Historical and Archaeological Society (AHAS), it was renamed in 2013 to the Aldershot History Society to make it more relevant to the interests of the membership.  AHS holds monthly public meetings on the 4th Wednesday of the month during, to which anyone is welcome to attend.  They currently have a Facebook page and if you have any comments please let them know.

The Conservation Volunteers

Friends of Muntz Park
The Friends of Muntz Park, Selly Oak Birmingham.  A group who are dedicated to the upkeep and welfare of Muntz Park, an area of about five acres in Selly Oak Birmingham, three acres were donated to the District Council in 1905 to be used as a park.  In 1907 and 1909 the council brought further two acres of land from the original donor to make the park five acres.  For further information click their logo (left) or e-mail

Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue
We are committed to encouraging through knowledge the integration of wildlife into our countryside and our gardens along side us in a natural balance.  We help to preserve wildlife in its natural environment by talking in schools reaching the next generation and via worksheets, direct animal contact and talks.  We a encourage children and adults to care for their environment and reduce the use of pesticides.  We help to remove the myths that surround our spectacular wildlife and encourage the next generation to learn and understand that a garden can be balanced and are a great environment for both humans and our native wildlife.

Fleet Pond Society

The Southampton Natural History Society (SNHS) has been established for many years and is concerned with all aspects of natural history within and around the Southampton area.  The society holds regular field and indoor meetings and produces newsletters and an annual report which details the exciting flora and fauna of this region.

Swan Lifeline
